Three full-length cozy mysteries in one Westwick Witches paranormal cozy mystery omnibus box set!

1. Witch You Well

Be careful what you wish for....

Dead billionaires are not good for business! Especially at Cendrine's wedding rehearsal and the witches' cozy family inn grand opening. Aunt Pearl's hexing has created one spell of a mess that even the town's sexy new sheriff might find a little too vexing. Cen must resort to her special blend of sleuthing and supernatural justice just to keep her family in check. But can she uncover the clues before the killer strikes again?

2. Rags to Witches

Win, lose, or draw....

Cendrine is kidnapped by renegade witch Aunt Pearl, who is intent on avenging a friend’s untimely death. It's Las Vegas or bust...for all the wrong reasons. Project Vegas Vendetta quickly escalates into an all-out mob turf war as the witches are thrust into Sin City’s seamy underworld.

It’s not just the Las Vegas heat that’s scorching. One man is intent on winning Cen’s heart but she wants only the guy she left behind in Westwick Corners. All she has to do is solve a murder, out-magic her ornery aunt, and take down the Las Vegas mafia. What could possibly go wrong?

When organized crime meets unorganized magic, anything can happen!

3. Witch and Famous

Lights, camera, assassin....

A Hollywood movie shoot comes to town and journalist Cendrine is eager for a scoop. Her witchy family wants in on the action too, but shenanigans with the stars soon turn to Tinseltown tragedy.

Bodies are piling up faster than a coven’s worth of curses, and everything points back to Cen’s star-struck family. They will stop at nothing in their quest for supernatural stardom, even if that means meddling in a murder investigation.

Can Cen keep her family in check and unmask the killer before he strikes again?

Welcome to the wild, wild Wests!

Aunt Pearl is really growing on me! Loved the way this story went! I cant wait to start the next book in the series.
Book 3:
Great read! Complete shame that there's one book left and the series ends... I have fallen for the characters!

Absolutely delightful series

These Cosy whodunnit stories are quirky, fun, and clean! The characters as individuals are absolutely hilarious , as a cast they are utterly entertaining! Typically I listen to one story in a set and then come back to the next one after reading something else, but I listened to the whole set straight through. I can clearly “see” Colleen Cross chuckling to herself as she wrote some of these scenes. The narration is top notch! Ms. Burchard has a great range of voices, and she is very efficient in keeping the myriad of voices straight. She made the characters come to life. So much so, that I almost caught myself looking around to see if I could see Grandma Vi!

A Delightful Cozy Mystery Set

I absolutely love this series! Each book is so entertaining and lighthearted fun. Here's my thoughts on each book:

Witch You Well
A Delightful Tale
This is a delightful, lighthearted and fun listen! I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. It'll have you chuckling, rolling your eyes and loving the characters! Aunt Pearl is a nut and you can't help but love her!! The narrator does an excellent job bringing this story to life. Her character voices were wonderful and distinct. This is a great listen if you are looking for an easy listen to help you escape reality for a short time.

Rags to Witches
What a Road Trip!
This installment takes Cen, her mom and her crazy Aunt Pearl to Las Vegas. Oh my goodness! Aunt Pearl is such a riot! Her over the top antics are hilarious and, this time, a bit on the dangerous side. In this book I will say that Cen gets on my nerves a bit about not doing magic. She's cheating and wants to be "normal". Well, you'll have to listen to find out how it all turns out. The great thing about this series is that you don't have to read/listen to the books in order but it does help to add to the next one if they are read/listened in order. The narration was wonderful. Petrea Burchard does a great job with the many voices and emotions from beginning to end. She really brings the story to life and helps to immerse the listener into this fun and cozy world. Highly entertaining and if you enjoy cozy mysteries then you should check out this series.

Witch & Famous
Westwick Witches Meets Hollywood
This installment has the small town of Westwick meeting Hollywood when a movie is being shot in the sleepy little town. My heart went out to Cen who not only had to deal with Aunt Pearl's antics but her Aunt Amber's as well. This story will keep you highly entertained just the two books before. It's not necessary to read/listen to the first two to enjoy this one but it does help with backstory. Which Aunt will become more famous? How will the town survive two over-the-top characters competing with each other? Will Cen and Tyler figure out who's responsible and keep their sanity intact? You'll just have to listen to find out. The narration by Petrea Burchard is wonderfully done. She keeps the voices the same from book one to this one which is awesome. She really gives the characters life and truly brings the story to life for the listener.

Magically mysterious and funny

I really enjoyed this set. I wasn't ready for it to end honestly. My favorite part of my night was snuggling up and listening to more Westwick witches. Aunt pearl is hilarious and by far my favorite character. If your into magical, humorous, witchy mysteries then you'll enjoy this book. It keeps you guessing and I did not expect what happened at all. It really kept me going.

What a hoot!

This box set covers three mystery books where the conservative witch, Cendrine West (Cen), a journalist, gets caught up trying to solve murders in various settings. The three stories are as follows:

Witch you well

Cen is helping her family prepare for the grand opening of the Family Inn in Westwick Corner. She is engaged to be married to the soon to be mayor, and is having a rehearsal dinner for the wedding, when she literally falls over a dead body. While trying to hide the family secret of witchcraft, she helps the sheriff Tyler to solve the murder that her aunt was framed for.

Rags to witches

In Las Vegas, Cen and her aunt find a dead body which they believe was a murder. They decide to investigate, while Cen attempts to keep her family out of the spotlight.

Witch and famous

On the set of a prominent movie being set in Westwick Corner, Cen, who is hoping to write about the filming, gets caught up in a murder during the filming. She investigates the murder while trying to avoid the drama of her aunt trying to get famous.

Cen is the "normal" witch in the family, while the rest of the Wests, especially her aunts, are completely wacky. The story is light being one you can enjoy on the couch while relaxing or while on holiday. There is a definite comedic element adding laughs throughout, particularly while Cen tries to keep her quirky aunts out of trouble. It is somewhat ridiculous at times but that what makes it fun i guess! There is also a romantic element coming through which i didnt expect but really liked. How cool are the story names as well?! The narrator was awesome, using different voices for each character really well. The performance was really entertaining!

Overall, the witch mysteries were enjoyable. They were light, fun and relaxing. When you need a break from all the heaviness in life, it is so nice to listen to an amusing story to escape with minimum effort. Thanks for the wild ride!

Witch-tastic

This was a great set. When I get a box set I normally listen to one book and then have a break before going on to the next book in the set, just so I don't get the stories muddled up. This wasn't the case with this box set I enjoyed it so much I heard all three straight after each other and then joined the authors emailing list, I enjoyed it so much. What I liked was the characters they were so much fun and full of mischief that you never knew what they would do next.

Book one -Witch you well
With a dying town the residents try to bring tourists to the area by doing up the town and opening a bed and breakfast. Never easy when you live in the middle of no where but impossible when one of the residents who just happens to be a witch wants the sleep town to stay just the way it is. Then on the grand opening of the B and B the first guest is murdered with a wand and all evidence points to Pearl. This all happens to be the same time Cendrine is planning her wedding, a new sherif is in town, old family friends turn up and plans to develop on the site of the B and B are discovered. Can Cendrine and her family of witches put aside there difference and work together to solve the mystery before they lose the B and B or Aunt Pearl goes to jail.
Book two - Rags to witches
Cendrine finds herself kidnapped by her crazy family and on the way to Las Vegas in a blink of an eye or even before she can cancel a date with the sherif. Pearl's godson is in trouble and needs her help. His grandmother has just been murdered and he might be next, as being next in line to be a mob boss has put a target on his back. With gambling, old grudges, marriages and guns it is about time Cendrine embraces her witchy heritage before someone puts a spell on her.
Book three - Witch and famous
Amber the middle child of the three west sisters has got the leading role in a film and talks the director into filming it in sleep westwick. The small town is anything but sleep when the cast and film crew descends and it is not long before the leading actor is killed on set. He wasn't the nicest man to work with so there is plenty of suspects but Cendrine gets worried when all the evidence starts pointing at her Aunt and Amber of the top antics don't help but add in Aunt Pearl's arson tendency and it is a recipe for disaster. Will the film be to hot for small town Westwickto handle.
I liked the narrator as she had a easy laid back way of talking and used great voices for each character,

Disappointing

I gave this series a try since ive liked other witch mystery books, but i do not like this one. It feels too rushed. The characters feel forced in their emotions and reactions. The plot is central, and there are no real subplots. The ones that were put in arent explored and are simply explained. Everything is through Sendrine, and only get just her perspective on everything. Everything also seems to revolve around her aunt disappointed in her for not practicing magic. It's repeated as an excuse and reason.
