W-A-Y better attempt at U.S. (American) accent

The other reviewers from the US/Canada must not have listened to ANY other narrator attempting an American accent!!! If they had, they’d know that THIS narrator does a VASTLY superior job than almost any other of the 100s I’ve listened to via Audible!!! And, no, she is NOT attempting an “Upper Class Bostonian” accent. If the listener actually pays attention to this book, they’ll notice that the main character is NOT supposed to be “Upper Class” from Boston!!! (Oh, and, I think that particular reviewer might not know Boston very well; there isn’t so much an “Upper Class”, um, class ;-) in Boston as there is an “Old Money” class.)

Yes, this book’s narrator makes some mistakes (e.g. the city name “Albuquerqe” has four syllables, not 3; there’s a “key”-ish one at the end), but FAR fewer than almost any other narrator. Hmmnn… actually, this book’s narrator DEFINITELY succeeds at performing an American accent MORE THAN any other narrator I’ve heard via Audible!!! Massive kudos to her! :-) :-) :-) :-)

AND, any wavering of accent is easily explained by the main character’s childhood as an Army Brat, living all over the United States; perfect circumstance for the narrator ;-)

Oh, and, the plot and characterization in this book are very good ;-D
