So dumb

Honestly this book is so dumb. Doesn’t feel like there’s a solid plot. Didn’t even bother finishing because it was so bad.

Inappropriate School Book

I am a teenage girl who chose this book to read for my summer reading assignment for my sophomore year of high school. The summary in my eyes was very misleading. This book had a very extensive amount of sexual content. Typically it doesn’t bother me but this novel made me so uncomfortable where I got a new book assigned by my teacher. Before you or your child reads this I would make sure that sexual content on a VERY adult level doesn’t bother them. I wouldn’t recommend especially for school uses!

Unexpected

At first I was appalled by the bluntness of that narration, however I grew to like it a lot. It is not rainbow and sunshine, neither is “life”.

A Book Just Right for the Age of #MeToo

Do what you can to approach this book with an gentle heart and open mind. This is a book about how we think our thoughts and actions are solely our own, how wrong we often are about that assumption, and who gets to decide to absolve our sins.
