The delightfully wicked sense of humour of the author was introduced very early it this story. Made me laugh out loud…. Often. The narrator is awesome.

Wonderful story of Alexander Moncrieffe, Duke of Falconbridge, a man feared by the ton because of his control and dark demeanour, and Genevieve Eversea, a kind, although also quite controlled, lady who's brother has done the Duke wrong. Amazing chemistry between these two despite their denying it. If you enjoy a "Beauty and the Beast" story this one is definitely for you. Ms Long's writing style will keep you glued to the pages. I "read" this as an audio book, and recommend Justine Eyre as a narrator.
