Performance would have been better with 2 voices as the reader would sometimes be Helen but sound like one of the man's voices she did. All in all enjoyed it

I loved the story of Helen’s journey to find herself and found so much more. The narrator was wonderful and read the book with emotion and interpretation.

Fern Michaels takes the reader/listener on a journey of mystery, danger and love. She tells the story in such depth that you are swept into the lives of the characters and feel their emotions and pain.

I recommend this book. ❤️

A Lively Story of Heartache and Love

Narration was great. Story was really touching and heartbreaking all in one. Loved how dogs were such a priority in this story. Being an avid animal lover myself. It was heartwarming and also sad and disturbing. I highly recommend.

This audio book was captivating from the moment it started, I love listening or reading anything by fern Michael's. The narrator did a great job at helping you invision intense or soft moments bringing you into the book. I would suggest a trigger warning for anyone that has struggled through abuse or domestic violence though but for those who are in a similar situation I hope this gives you guidance strength and the courage to never settle and that there is more the one person willing to help.

The story was a good story. It started slow but got better.

My only complaint is the narrator. She read the story very well. It’s about a 28 yr old woman and a 35 year old man. The narrator is definitely not of the same era. Had the characters been in their 50’s and 60’s the choice of narrator would have made sense.

I really enjoyed the story and I love Barbara Rosenblat. I will listen to anything she narrates. She can do accents better than anyone and brings characters alive!!

Great story. It'll still going in the beginning, but very gripping. Keeps the reader wanting to listen even though the narrator's voice was extremely hard to listen to. She sounded like she had to clear her throat. Or she had just smoked 2 packs of cigarettes. It was a very gurgly unpleasant narration.

The story was so weak the main Character ridiculous. Sorry i bothered. I gave it 2 stars out of pity.
