Look. This duet is not for everyone but for me? It was everything. The trauma that Willow has gone through is very relatable in some abusive relationships (the details are very graphic, you’ve been warned) and the fact that she stayed strong through out and did what she needed to do, is inspiring.
Worth the buy. Do it.

The story was very well written, detailed and I got hooked pretty quickly. I was a bit disappointed that the voice actors did the opposite gender voices when in their points of view. It kind of took away from the experience so I took away one star for that.

It was very entertaining and hit the spot just right with its very different characters all having their own roles. It was definitely a rollercoaster of emotions all along.

Keep in mind, this book does end on a cliffhanger, as it is part 1/2 of a 2 book series. The two combined books are definitely worth a listen, and would make an incredibe movie IMHO.

ALSO : read the TWs before starting this, as this may be too much for certain listeners.

I like the idea of a woman having more than one man who is in a committed relationship with her (reverse harem I think it’s called). It would have been empowering for the main character but the nature of the sexual encounters were not okay considering her past. The author has no clue about sexual trauma or power dynamics. Messed up - especially since there is a child involved.
