Publisher's Summary
Drawn from Wyoming Territory for the first time in his life, Jake Costner sets off to find his destiny, leaving his love behind in Logan Meadows.
Learning that his saloon-girl mother has known all along who sired him, Jake takes his fate into his own hands and travels away from the only family he's ever known. Unaware of what awaits him at the end of his train ride, Jake discovers not only a dying father, but a surprise that will change his life forever. More is on the line than returning to Logan Meadows, where Daisy Smith awaits the wedding he's promised. Given new awakenings, bitter sorrow, and a daring escape, will Jake return a whole man? Or will the happiness he and Daisy have been building for the last two years be lost?

Where Wind Meets Wave: A Prairie Hearts Novel
I have had a soft spot for Jake since he was introduced in Where the Wind Blows (Prairie Hearts #1). In spite of the abuse and hardships that Jake endured in his childhood, he did everything he could to better his life. I really admired his bravery when he decided to join Chase and Jessie when they relocated to Logan Meadows, Wyoming. It turned out to be the best decision he made because the move gave him a fresh start. He was able to find love, family and a sense of community in Logan Meadows.
I have to admit that I was fearful for Jake's well-being when he set out on the journey to meet the father who refused to acknowledge him until he was on his deathbed. There were certainly some shocking twists but Jake demonstrated his strength of character and Christian values while he was away from home.
Although this is a novella, it is just as action packed as the other books in the series. Be sure to set aside time to listen to this audio-book in one sitting because you will be unable to put it down once you start.

Wonderful story with surprises and adventure.
I loved this book and I loved this audible book with Cody Roberts and his smooth voice is awesome. Caroline Fyffe writes awesome stories with amazing characters that I absolutely love. They are complex and often have many problems like any of us. But adventure and surprises are always part of her stories with so much more. This one isn't really so much a romance as it is about finding family never knowing they even existed. Gabe is the character that goes to meet his father for the first time and finds sisters also. Trouble is there with a friend he sees in a prison camp and he knows this man isn't someone that would ever be in prison.
Cody Roberts has a very smooth voice and can keep his character voices as they should be. He is so easy to listen to telling this story or any story so I am so glad that Caroline and Cody have teamed up for her audible stories.
I encourage you to get this audible story and I know you will be snared by this story and how Cody narrates this story. I think you will love it as I do especially if you have read/and or heard the narrated stories of this series which is an awesome series.

I loved that the hero does the right thing by his sisters.
