This was MM strangers to lovers with opposites attract, forced proximity/roommates with bi awakening and himbo vibes. The story is mostly told through Caleb’s POV with a couple of chapters from Whit’s POV but it didn’t detract from the story too much. There was a reluctant friends stage before the lovers but it goes by so fast if you’ll blink you’ll miss it! But I am a fan of the himbo bi awakening with immediate acceptance while Whit ends up being the one fighting the attraction between them. He also harbours secrets that threaten to topple everything he’s worked for. I will be continuing with the audiobook series.

The narration was terrific. Super-great. The plot seemed somewhat implausible -- a presumably straight man falling that hard, that far, that fast, for another guy. But then most romances do require a suspension of disbelief.

Caleb’s narrator has such a nice voice to listen to. Wow. Better listen to the audiobook than read the book. I was bored and did not find any audiobook going through the catalog. I had just finished a long complicated audiobook and then needed something light . Damn my choice was right with that book ! I had no great expectation on it and I am not really a big fan of romance stories… but this story is really nice. Caleb made me laugh and smile. Such a refreshing character ! The only down to this book for me is that there were to many sex episodes through the story. It’s just too much for my taste. We really understand that Caleb is seriously into Whit. I think that most of the sex episodes could have been less explicite and the story would have been just ok. It’s my opinion but as I said I am not a big fan of erotic romance stories. Anyway the story was surprisingly interesting I must say. Never listened to an audiobook with such a talented narrator (Caleb). Whit’s narrator is good too. Whit is a complicated and troubled character…
hence the narrator succeeded to make me feel it in his narration. Overall I liked very this book.

That’s all I can say. Cute! Sweet and charming. (Could have used some of the drama from a good ol’ fashion boyfriend/parent confrontation, was a good set up for one, but I digress)
