Pleasantly surprised

I usually am not a fan of young adult book as this one has been categorized as, but the lack of spice wasn’t noticeable because of the chemistry & slow burn love triangle.

The story is unique and something I haven’t heard before and I read a lot of fantasy books lol

interesting prequel

Very good, Story.
I loved the Harbinger Series and was interested to know about Layla. I was not too impressed that it is a different narrator. I was used to hearing the other. Other than that, the book was very good.
