Leaned a lot about this marketplace

Having been curious about adapting an audiobook myself, this was some interesting insight as to how this market can be abused. Cory Doctorow books are not otherwise available here.

Thought provoking reveal

I too I love audio books, and Audible. However knowing more now of what's behind the curtain... it's time for second thoughts, careful ones.

Listeners should also seek out Cory's written version of this piece. It contains reference links and images to things only hinted at in the audio version (and the parenthetical asides are easier to distinguish). It's available on Kindle, a Twitter thread, and of course Doctorow's blog
