Here is Trump in action—how he runs his organization and how he runs his life—as he meets the people he needs to meet, chats with family and friends, clashes with enemies, and challenges conventional thinking. But even a maverick plays by rules, and Trump has formulated time-tested guidelines for success. He isolates the common elements in his greatest accomplishments; he shatters myths; he names names, spells out the zeros, and fully reveals the deal-maker's art. And throughout, Trump talks—really talks—about how he does it.

Story
Many Americans dream of financial freedom, but they're stuck in dead-end jobs and don't know how to get there. You don't need to be one of them. If you invested $35,000 in the stock market today, it could take 52 years for that investment to grow to $1 million. But if you invested that same amount into one single-family $140,000 rental property, it would only take 19 years. With just two rental properties, you could generate $417,000 in profit in just 10 years. Skeptical?

Great Book - Worth Listening
I was leary at first, because I think Donald Trump is quite arrogant, but I was impressed. No doubt he brags about himself here and there through out the book, but it is also filled with tid-bits of wisdom and new ways to think about things.
This book is very much a big picture, high level thinking, the way you view the world, paradigm evaluating type book. It help me personally refine and shape a few of my own ideas and inspired me to set some new goals.
I would highly recommend it to anyone who is a Trump or Kiyosaki fan, or who is looking for some motivation and self evaluation on their own road to success.

What A Great Motivational Book
This was a great book that will motivate you & change the way you perform your job or business. I enjoyed this book as much as I enjoyed Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad Poor Dad. Although it is the first book I have read from Donald Trump, his points of view on business & personal drive are very inspirational. Since I read this book it has helped me utilize my time in every day more wisely & profitable. I recommend this book to anyone who has the need to learn more about business and the direction of they're investments.

Great for Improving Mindset
I've previously read some of Trump's work as well as a couple of Kiyosaki's books, so I was familiar with some of the content already.
I enjoyed getting a deeper look into the way these two men think and why they make the decisions they do. I read a lot about business and investing, and this book had some fresh thinking which was a nice change of pace.
As an entrepreneur myself, I was able to get some good insight into how to think about business.
If you are looking for specific examples of how to get rich quick, this is not the book (and beware of any that make this claim). However, it is a great book for getting you to start to think in a way that will lead you to wealth and business ownership. A good starting point for future books that cover the specifics of what they talk about.
My favorite quote was "the people with the most security have the least freedom - those in maximum security prison." A great visual for getting out of the employment "security" mentality.
I would recommend this to someone who is on the fence about leaving their "job" to start a business.

Copy and paste literature from past works.
As a fan of both authors who has read many of their books, I don't want to discourage anyone from reading this book or others they have written. The others are good and this one is too, IF you haven't read their other works.
This book is as follows:
Pointless introduction explaining why they are writing this book and how it came to be. This is then followed by word for word clippings from their other works.
It's shameful. No novel information or insight is provided here.

Dubious content lacks substance
This audiobook begins with Donald and Robert praising each other's wealth, then moved into a series of questions that each answers independently of each other. There are small morsels of business insight, but very few. Most commentary is of a "think big, and be big" nature, with many platitudes and little substance.
The most dangerous aspect of their message is to denounce the "Richest Man in Babylon" and "Wealthy Barber" theory of saving, investing, diversifying, and living within your means. Instead we are told to live beyond our means, and leverage ourselves into wealth.
Without providing any specific insights or details. There is a caveat provided that if you cannot do this successfully, then you shouldn't do it at all.
Overall their messages are contradictory, trite, and self serving.
For non-sophisticated investors and the average salaried worker, more practical and useable books are the two mentioned above (Babylon, and Barber). For business insight, any of Jack Welsh's books (GE CEO) are inspirational and provide tons of useable business knowledge.

Absolutely terrible!
I'm a huge fan of the Rich Dad series by Robert Kiyosaki, and I found "The Art of the Deal" by Donald Trump to be interesting and informative. This book, however, was a complete and total disappointment. There is zero new information in it. The entire book is basically just a promo for their other books and products. Halfway through I found myself wishing for the end, but I kept listening and hoping that it would get better, as these are two of the greatest investors of our time. Instead, it only got worse. I highly recommend the Rich Dad series, but please don't waste your time on this disaster.

Mostly Hight Level Information
Not a bad book if you are interested in high level information on how these two men have accomplished some great things in real estate, but I found this other audio book "Trump Strategies for Real Estate: Billionaire Lessons for the Small Investor by George Ross" gave more low level information on how some of trumps deals got done and some more strategies in real estate investing.
