Publisher's Summary

The second book in the brand-new Hunt Legacy duology by the Sunday Times and New York Times best-selling author of the This Man series.

A desperate passion, a dangerous love story....

Eleanor Cole had no idea that when she met the charmingly irresistible Becker Hunt, she was putting her life on the line. So when she discovers his secrets, escape seems to be her only option - but Becker isn't ready to let Eleanor go.

She knows better than to fall into his corrupt world again, but how long can she resist when he's stolen her heart?

Eleanor must make a choice, to stay and follow Becker into the heart of the danger...or risk losing him forever!

Becker Hunt is back, and this time he's not letting Eleanor walk away....

Worth the read if you enjoyed the first

This was a great conclusion to the first book. The only part that threw me for a loop was the Epilogue, with a new narrator. Didn't seem to fit the rest of the book.

Part 2 of the artful lies duology

These were two very lengthy books, however it was a complicated and convoluted plot with twists, secrets and mystery at the forefront. The love story is epic. Becker Hunt doesn't want to love, he doesn't think he is capable and he is only interested in finding his treasure. But Eleanor turns his world upside down. Becker's love and obsession with Eleanor jumps off the page. The chemistry and sex scenes are off the charts. The 2 things that make this 4 instead of 5 star read is 1- I would have preferred a dual pov, though I understand it kept the suspense element alive. And 2 - Eleanor's inner talk, going back and forth in her mind before every dialogue and the constant repeat of the events/faults of Becker. The treasure hunt/art part was very unique.

amazing once again

Another amazing book by Jodi Ellen Malpas, the second book in the duology ties together the first perfectly and it reveals a lot of the secrets that were more vague in the first book I absolutely loved all the plot twists and didn't expect most of them. The romance and how it grows was great as well , would recommend this to fellow readers 100%.
