Publisher's Summary

A spell-binding, new, sexy romance in a bewitching tale.

Welcome to Mystic Bay, where love and magic can conquer anything...

Accepting the depths of her powers, Ember Cane realizes she's fallen in love. But she's completely out of her element when it comes to the sexy firefighter Phoenix Nox. Leaving him on his knees in a trance with sirens in the distance, under a spell, unable to fight the blazing fire she assumes her powers created - she runs, never expecting to see him again. When she does, the spell is broken - but can he love a witch?

To make matters more complicated, her past is about to catch up with her. Warned her father will find her. He watches. He follows. Fire follows.

This is a stand-alone romance, but you can meet Ember's cousin in Fighting the Fire (Souls on Fire).

It's ok

This book was ok. To me it seemed choppy. The words did not flow easily. The characters needed more depth. Narrator Carly Kincaid made the book tolerable.
