Another great adventure by Simon R. Green. Even though I figured out who it was, the why and the twist were a surprise. The first three Hawk and Fisher books are great. All three deal with different creatures and very well written. I listened to the dramatized version of all three. Short, less than 7 hour listens.

I’ve listened to all at 1.2x speed.

First be assured that while this production is 2nd in the series it does stand alone, providing a complete story. There are some good fight scenes but these stories are not primarily hack and slash. There's much more devoted to an almost mystery style plot, with lots of soft humour throughout.

A great bit of fun to pass a day.
