Publisher's Summary

An exciting horse adventure, perfect for listeners from nine to 14 years old - and older according to many who have enjoyed it!

Evy can telepathically understand horses, but she’s not sure if it’s a blessing or a curse. Her secret “gift” certainly seems to get her in lots of trouble.

When some starving mustangs wander close to the wilderness cabin that she shares with her hermit mother, she knows she must help them. Her act of kindness quickly snowballs into a series of events that forever change her life and the life of a very special mustang filly.

Great Listen for young adults and kids!

Winnies on the Wind is my favorite series by Angela Dorsey. I grew up reading her books and am so excited she's able to release audiobooks, as I don't have much time to read anymore. I'm looking forward to the rest hopefully coming out soon.

As far as the performance, Deva Marie did a wonderful job. My only constructive suggestion would be on how she voices the horses. In my opinion, horses would think quick and light and wise, and that was backed by how well Angela had written the voices of the horses. But, Deva makes them sound slow and a little goofy.

Otherwise, a fantastic listen.
