Publisher's Summary
Marcus Richmond might be the quiet one in the Winchester witches' world, but that doesn't mean he has nothing to say.
Between renovations at his stable - and plans for a bright future with a certain feisty witch - Marcus has his hands full. Things get even more hectic when local FBI Agent Landon Michaels discovers blood in Marcus' loft and a series of strange occurrences and thefts plague Hemlock Cove.
It's a holiday weekend and the weather - and tempers - are running hot as tourists descend on the popular vacation haven to celebrate the Fourth of July holiday. All Marcus has to do to be a part of it is figure out what's going on...oh, and keep Aunt Tillie out of trouble when she decides someone is stealing from her special field.
Marcus knows what he wants and he's determined to get it. He just needs to solve a mystery and make sure Aunt Tillie doesn't take matters into her own hands when no one is looking.

Eh
Story ok, narrator great, Landon was a an uptight pain. Good to see Tillie's other side this time, we all knew she really was that way inside. Just wasn't thrilled with the lack of depth of the story. Maybe I'm just spoiled by full length books, who knows?

Characters
The narrator was pretty monotone. He did try to make his voice different when he was acting like a different person

Narrator should know character's names
Twila is one of the major characters in this series. The name, while unusual, has a long history. It is pronounced Twy-lah, not Twill-ah. I'd think the author would give enough attention to quality control to catch something like this. What next—Bee instead of Bay? Twizzle instead of Thistle?

Witchy and helpful!
Great story. It's a short, but a unique view from one of the quieter members of the group. Great insight into all of our characters. Highly recommend this series.
