Waste of money
After reading the synopsis on what these books were supposed to be about i decided to give it a chance and boy do I regret that. Sure there is plenty of mystery but its nothing but sexist references and typical vapid white girl personalities and relationships. The men all sound the same with little life to them and the women all sound like dumb blondes straight out of Clueless. The main character never really learns to use her powers and is such a nuance. I only listen to three books because they all came together in one buy but I don't think this series is worth the money.

Bitchy Women, Fascinating
Welcome to Moonstone Bay: an island inhabited by paranormal creatures. Hadley has inherited a lighthouse on the death of her maternal grandmother, whom Hadley never knew existed. The will stipulates that she must live on the island to inherit. In addition to lighthouse, she’s well off financially now. Oh yeah: Grandma was a witch, and so is Hadley, but she never knew it,
Hadley is a combination of bitchy and whiny, but she grows on. Frankly, she’s Aisling Grimlock’s lost sister.
This is a delightful anthology of the first three books in the Moonstone Bay cozy mystery series. Hang in tight kids: the Grimlocks guest star in book three. You definitely want to buy this one!

Great story, but...
I'm not a fan of the narrator but I love the stories. I'm hoping the other books have a different narrator otherwise, I'll stick to reading them instead of listening.

Horrible!
The women in these books are completely revolting! I'm absolutely disgusting with the things they do and how they act towards everyone. If that wasn't bad enough the stories were junk. I know who the culprit was five chapters is. I'm angry at myself for buying these books. I can't believe I finished them. It was like a horrific car crash. No matter how bad I know it is I can't look away. I would NOT recommend buying these books. Especially if you plan on reading this authors other books. There are spoilers EVERYWHERE.

Don’t wait any longer. Start this one now!
I’m not sure why I waited so long to start this series, but I am sure glad that I did now. Great cozy mystery, romance and a special tie in to my favorite violet eyed snark queen!
I can’t wait to continue.

This is a great series. Full of fun characters and just enough adventures to make you wonder how they will get out unscathed.

Supremely Unlikeable Characters
I’m halfway through and HATE Hadley and Lilac. Whiny, self-absorbed brats. The narrator’s voicing of these two characters make them even worse. I’m really disappointed. The male characters are decent and the voicing is ok. In fact, the voicing is ok except for Hadley and Lilac. Sadly, they get most of the air time.

So far so good. It is what it is
Like: It’s cozy paranormal .. it’s is meant to be silly and funny. It has a plot which is good. It makes want to know what happened.. who took out granny..
Dislike: The main character can be a bit aggravating.. and a little dingy. But she eventually makes up for it.
**buy as a set.. 3 for 1 credit
I like Booker and Lilac ..

Worst narrator ever
Angel Clark ruined my favorite books and characters with her whiny interpretations. Angel and the author must be friends because I can’t see any other reason she was picked. Just terrible. I will never listen to her read again. I will be sure to check out and preview narrators before my next road trip.
