Now that the domes entrails are stirring, the mysteries of the long-vanished Miscam tribes are coming to light, and the shapeshifting animal spirits are making their return.

Powers untold hide behind the blinkless eyeholes of the canid mask, powers that could tip the balance in the war. Lago is barely beginning to learn how to wield the dark visage, but he can already feel its potential. And he can feel a different change coming, deep in his marrow.

This was an incredibly fun and exciting read/listen. Not only was in an epic fantasy adventure with the promise of much more. The manager throw some furry nonsense in. And who doesn’t love gay furry love. Though the intimate scenes aren’t explicit. They’re very tame and kind of fade to black. It’s much more focussed on the heroes journey trials and tribulations and this ragged tag group of adventures are vastly different from each other various different backgrounds. All the characters have great chemistry with each other and come across us, unique and quirky individuals. No one really feels the same or generic. This is my first time reading this author and I was delightfully impressed. It’s also a hefty read or listen so if you’re looking for something longer and more engaging, it’s perfect. A lot of bang for your buck. The world is well developed in unique, and the author also has a litany of maps and background information on the worlds and characters for anyone more intrigued. Also the voice talent who did the audiobook was fantastic and truly a joy to listen to. This book it’s a strong recommendation for me. 10 out of 10 Wolf x bear furies. 🐺 can’t wait to read the next two books in the series they’ve already been purchased.
