Publisher's Summary
It was only nine years ago that Jim Harmer worked at a dollar store, stocking shelves while struggling through law school. He had worked hard for his goals, but there was no assurance in sight that he would ever achieve them.
During that year, he learned a key truth that changed the way he worked. He found the one unique quality inside him - one we all have - that gave him a reason to work. He didn’t know it then, but that secret ingredient was his "work energy".
Now, after creating a digital brand that has attracted over 70 million people and made him financially free, Jim has constructed the framework behind his success. Within this book, you will discover your own "work energy": the drive behind everything you do and the reason you can take on any goal. Whether you want to crush personal, career, or any other goal, your work energy will help you get there.

Don't waste your precious time. This is a blog style account of iterally every word of everything & anything he's ever done. (including other clutter "off script" and nothing of great use about this guys seemingly perfect life. (If it was a film it would include the lead characters doing mundane shots like making food / washing dishes / using the WC & reading the irrelevant paper before thinking for most of the afternoon of the next task that should be started tomorrow) His advise isn't worded in such a way but is basically find an effective routine to fit in a bit the things you know you should be doing to change your life. Find work that you get a kick from and keep doing what is effective to maximise your goals until success, with bite size chunks to achieve "90% of your gosls & work each day" Repeat or "Groundhog" this formula until success.

😅 sorry, just had to do it Jim. but seriously though i really enjoyed this book, there were so many moments that really spoke to me..dude, 5'10" 220lbs trying to run to loose weight. and failing. were you reading my journal or something. having failed so many times it gets harder to get motivated to start the next project/idea but your method of searching for my work energy has really got me thinking again and i will reevaluate my process to work with my strengths and my road blocks. I am already creating a list in my mind of the people who i know need to hear the messages in this book, so I am glad you spent the 4 years polishing your ideas to create this gem. Thank You.

Inspirational, Motivating and Realistic 10/10!
Loved listening to the audiobook by Jim Harmer. Been following him for 2 years, as I like his content on YouTube and the moment I heard that he released his book I jumped on the opportunity. His book describes life events and how he managed them. This gave me a chance to reflect on my own situation and being in my mid-20s I've had up and downs and felt like this book did help me see things in a different perspective. If you are reading this Jim I wanted to thank you for everything you did and may God be with you. -Gabriel

The Quintessence of How to Get S**t Done
As a person that has purchased many books on business, self improvement, and success, I know in the first 10 minutes whether or not a book is going to be complete drivel. This is definitely not one of them. Jim Harmer does a fantastic job at grabbing your attention and pulling you into his life story. The advice he gives you is actionable and will save you from spending worthless hours on the wrong projects. There is a reason Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and other like individuals can accomplish so much. They tap into their WORK ENERGY. After listening to only 1:06:41 I have already shifted my focus and plan to optimize my projects accordingly. Can't recommend this book enough and I'm excited to listen to the rest.

Honest
I am one of the people who has considered joining income school. I am one of those who wants to Live life without being tied to society. I have watched his videos on YouTube and I am sure I am joining. Initially it was for passive income but after much reflecting and honesty assessment of the kind of impact my article will be to the world, I am not driven to answer the questions I pose on the Internet with the understanding that someone else is asking the same question. After reading/ listening to this book it became clear that my journey in the quest to get answers is the helpful direction I need to be on. Not the income. Not the accolades. Just simple helpful answers. This book has enlightened me and makes me full understanding why I watch, tag and save the information he shares. It is his honesty and venerability. It is a pull that is rare and I full value. I know I am safe in his space. Thank you for sharing.
