Publisher's Summary

World on Fire picks up where Magnificent Vibration left off: with the hapless Bobby Cotton and his beloved bride (and former nun), Alice, having unleashed a global pandemic that’s fast wiping out half the world’s population - and at God’s request.

Bobby guides a very pregnant Alice and a motley crew of survivors to the Holy Land, darting through the hazards of a world that has fallen to pieces in a way more thorough than any we have seen.

But Bobby’s newborn daughter is born with astonishing abilities, and she’s not alone. A miraculous Convergence is headed for Galilee, where the stakes include survival of the Earth as we know it and the human race.

By turns hilarious and deadly serious, World on Fire explores the fate of the Earth in an utterly original way.

It may not be everyone’s cup of tea….

.....but it’s definitely a glass of red wine by the end of it!

After finishing "Magnificent Vibration", it left me wanting MORE….and "World On Fire" truly delivered. For first time readers (listeners) either book is independent of each other. I finished both books over the course of a weekend, which shows how much I withdrew from reality to enjoy them.

Being a huge Rick Springfield fan of his music and song writing; he has an intense sense of and passion for delving into the lyric’s heart/soul. Writing from his own real life, personal highs/lows, with no holds-bar perspectives. It’s the same energy, tenacity and skill in the writing of his books. You become immersed in the characters personalities/relationship, the twist and turns, mind blowing, politically incorrect, dark humour, WTF and laugh out loud moments. Having had both audible book versions, I wanted to be part of the wanders on the ‘mission magic’ adventure. Horatio being the unassuming and completely sympathetic hero.

It had all the elements of a science fiction novel, future technological advances, social and environmental changes, time travel and life on other planets. For me, it was the continual love story of Alice and Horatio, the birth of their supernatural daughter, the interconnectedness to those they meet along their journey and the whirl wind adventure and sole mission of saving our planet for generations to come.
