Utterly Brilliant

Especially relevant if like me, you’re trying to find the way to freedom from the constraints that a whole life of approval under a narcissistic parent has affected one’s self-esteem. So refreshing to learn it’s a choice that one has control over! Genius. A book I’ll return to again and again.

Not the book at all. More like a self interview.

If you could sum up Your Erroneous Zones in three words, what would they be?

NOT THE BOOK

What did you like best about this story?

I like listening to Wayne talk. He's got a charismatic way about him, a pleasant voice, and overall I enjoyed listening to this. However, if you want the book erroneous zones, this is not it, you should go back to Amazon and get the kindle or actual printed book.

This is more like Wayne musing on the topic of the book, and that I found helpful and entertaining. It helps to put a personality with the book, and it does help to flesh out a few of the ideas in the book, but it's certainly no substitute.

What does Dr. Wayne W. Dyer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Dr. Dyer's lecturing is very engaging, so that made this enjoyable to listen to.

Disappointing

This is a 90-minute, off-the-cuff summary of the book by the author. Very disappointing.

This is not the book. Very misleading title.

This is not the book, not sure why that is not clearly explained. It presents itself as the book though it is not at all. Just the author talking about the topic.

NOT THE BOOK!

I ordered this because I wanted to listen to this great book I read years ago. This recording is NOT the book! It is a 90-minute commentary/summary of the book by the author. There is NOTHING in the product description to indicate that this is not a reading of the actual book. I am very unhappy at having wasted the money to purchase this and angry that the product description was completely incorrect. There doesn't appear to be any way to request a refund, either.

Wayne summarizes the book

Would you consider the audio edition of Your Erroneous Zones to be better than the print version?

I had read and reread the book years ago. I also listened to this back when initially released. I am not sure if someone who wasn't already familiar with it would get as much out of it. I liked his condensing of some of the chapters of the book...it is very effective and much easier to remember and apply.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Your Erroneous Zones?

Guilt and worry

What about Dr. Wayne W. Dyer’s performance did you like?

He is always easy to listen to--warm and humorous style

This is not the book - Don't bel fooled!

I read this book when it was published and I remember being impressed with it. I will always remember the phrase “clerks are jerks.”
Don’t be fooled – this is not the book. When you buy and audio book you expect a reading of the printed book. This is just the author talking about the book and a general pep talk about guilt etc. Just 2 chapters and not even read from the book. I should have looked at the time less than two hours as an indication that this is just a nice talk but NOT THE BOOK.
I feel taken advantage of. I really would like my credit back. I believe I was misled.
Do not waste a credit or any money for this. You can get this drivel from Steve Harvey

Disapointed

This reading is not the book, but a summary of it. I was believing it to be the actual book when I purchased it. If you are into summaries it is well done, if your into the book itself, not so much.
