Not a fan of this narrator but I wanted the context before I dive into book 1.5
10/10 suggest the dramatized adaptations cuz of the different voices. It super beneficial with all the characters involved in a school.

I honestly could not get past the narrator having such a deep, sexy, dark, mature voice for FOURTEEN year old KIDS. Surely they could have got a teenager to narrate this one or he could have brought his voice up a couple octaves lol It was seriously messing with my head.

Not that he is a bad narrator... he's phenomenal. Just not for impersonating young kids.

The story was pretty good though and I'm excited to listen to the rest of the series.

Love the story, the narrator is difficult to listen to. I constantly wanted to bail because I kept cringing from the performance but the plot kept me going. Everything he says sounds like he’s completely pissed off or a stereotypical GI Joe figure all brunt no brains.
