À propos de cet audio
Zombie is a loveable character, but an idiot and a pest nonetheless. Sarge is in charge of a village police station and is a no nonsense type with a short temper.
Their adventures start when Zombie is created in a hush-hush experiment designed to save the police force money on recruitment. Sarge is tasked with training him how to act human and understanding the social norms of society.
It doesn't go well—as you can imagine, and each episode of Series 1, sees growing mishaps, misunderstandings and mayhem. And, if like Sarge, you end up exasperated by Zombie's antics, you wait until you meet his family!!
Written in a 12-part script format, this book is ideal for independent young listeners, teens and adults alike. If you like nonsense, ridiculous, and funny books—this is for you. If you're an educationalist; like books rich in wordplay that provide good English language and drama learning opportunities—this is also for you. If you work with EBSD children—this is definitely for you; as it provides many learning opportunities that cover areas significant to young people such as:
- challenging family life
- online safety
- problematic early experiences
- friendships
- sexuality
- bullying
- crime
- and more
The way it is written however, allows these issues to be explored in a light, nonjudgmental way through a third-person perspective, allowing the young person to safely explore issues they may be struggling with. Chiefly though, it is a book where you will laugh a lot and meet the most ridiculous characters ever. You'll be witness to the most insane goings on and it'll have you laughing with despair!
