They discuss match preparation, local knowledge, coffee preferences, downtime, dining together, what scorers need to know to support the umpires, mutual empathy, preparing for higher levels and lots more.

They ponder such questions as 'Should scorers attend the toss?' and 'Should scorers offer feedback to umpires?' - answers via email please.

Devdutt describes how he came to do the job and what a day in the life of an Outside Broadcast Graphics Operator looks like. Devdutt answers all Mark's 'nerdy' questions about the technology involved and Sue's probing about how much interaction he has with the official scorers and where he sits.

There is an errant Leg Bye that features throughout the episode, which culminates in a weighty discussion over animated ducks.

Jules wraps up with the news that Cricket Scorers Untallied reached number 13 in a list of cricket related podcasts and urges our listeners to make contact, preferably by email.

Liam talks about team dynamics, building confidence, creating a rapport with other officials, performance mode, scorers are athletes, support networks, resilience, mind sets, perspective, 7-second cure, the stretch zone, Samurai thinking, social interaction and assured us all that anxiety is normal.
