I admit to being skeptical but I was desperate by 3am to try anything. Lo, and behold, I think I heard about ½ of the story before I fell asleep. Maarleveld s voice is soothing and seductive by nature, coupled with this homey vegetable stew cooking fantasy is hypnotic. Plus it isn't throw-away writing. The writing is excellent so I didn't feel I had to stay awake to edit it. I enjoyed it so much that I'll have to listen to it once during the day when I am wide awake!

After many listens, I still don’t know how the story ends. All of the books in “Bedtime Stories “ are extremely good to help you turn off all of the thoughts that arrive the minute you hit the mattress. I recommend this series as there is a story for everyone.
