Join us in this captivating episode as we discover sacred singing that celebrates the Divine Feminine with Flora Ware! Flora is a Ceremonialist, Song Priestess, Pagan Songstress, the founder of EarthSong Temple and vocal coach. Flora serves the global community through ceremony, singing circles, and earth magic. As a Ceremonial Priestess, Cyclic Living teacher, and sacred musician, Flora inspires all to awaken to their potential, embody their wisdom, and to celebrate the Goddess by bringing the feminine principle forward. Her newest album: The Center of the Pentacle celebrates Lunar Magick, and Divine Feminine archetypes. Flora believes that our voices are magical instruments for healing, manifestation, and transformation. *Stay tuned to the end when Flora sings us her enchanting “Center of the Pentacle” invocation to the elements!*

Flora grew up in BC, Canada and was introduced to the Divine Feminine in 1993 attending her first Full Moon circle with her mother. She later read StarHawk’s seminal book The Spiral Dance which opened up the idea of the Neo-Pagan Wheel of the Year (the 8 sabbats). This concept and the reclaiming tradition felt right for Flora. She later went to college and studied theater/acting but then turned her focus to music and developing her skills as a singer. She got a diploma in Jazz and Contemporary Voice which was a very rich starting point for her vocal journey. A year after graduating Flora was introduced to Vocal Sound Healing which was another pivotal moment in her musical life and spiritual journey. She understood then that her voice was not just for entertainment but it could be used as a part of her sacred practice.

We delve into the role of Song Priestesses throughout history and what this role entails in contemporary times for Flora. Sound, voice, drums, music from paleolithic times have all been used by shamans and priests/priestesses and later bards for connecting to divine energy, creating sacred space and to foster community. The Song Priestess knows the power of vibrational and the energetic alchemy of sound. It's not entertainment, it's using our voices in sacred ritual through voice and sound healing to elevate our connection to the divine. Flora tells us that sound is vibrational healing and an attunement to harmonious frequencies.

We chat about Flora’s newest album: “The Center of the Pentacle” and how it focuses on Lunar Magick, New Moon, Full Moon song spells/chants and invocations to Goddesses designed to integrate with a group or personal ritual. This is a counterpoint to her previous album: “Songs for the Wheel of the Year” which were about the solar 8 sabbats. Her songs, music and song circles empower the Divine Feminine within and bring the feminine principle forward.Flora’s mission is to bring the sacred feminine back into balance with the sacred masculine. Flora continues to challenge herself musically and she is passionate about taking her voice and song priestessing to new edges whether it be online or in person ceremonies, EarthSong Temple rituals, song circles or album recordings. Flora ends our episode by singing her enchanting invocation to the elements. Tune in and be enlightened! Flora’s website: https://floraware.ca

Glen’s artwork is women-centric and inspired by the Sacred Feminine. For many years Glen has traveled to ancient sacred sites and has done artist residencies throughout the world.

Her symbolic abstraction of the Sacred Feminine in her artwork can also be seen in her books and Oracle Decks. . Glen is the author of two published books titled: Art & Sacred Sites: Connecting with Spirit of Place and Symbols of the Spirit: A Meditative Journey Through Art and two Oracle decks called Spirit Cards and Sacred Feminine Wisdom. Her art tells stories of women in their power that celebrate the essence of the Sacred Feminine, HerStory and that honors Gaia/ Mother Earth incorporating nature-based symbolism. Her work depicts Women in their strength as well as in their sensuality and as life-givers who are grounded yet connected to the spiritual realm. In 2022 and 2023, Glen organized: Calling the Circle: A Sacred Feminine Women’s Gathering with women in San Miguel de Allende, MX. Her upcoming workshop offers her love of printing with the Sacred Feminine, Journey to the Great Mother Through Divine Creativity.

We begin by talking about Glen's early beginnings growing up in a small town in Mississippi. She embarked on a spiritual journey in her 20’s and then started to read books such as Merlin Stone’s : “When God was a Woman" and Rhiane Eisler’s “The Chalice and The Blade”. She had an amazing heart opening and spiritual epiphany discovering that there was a Goddess and matriarchy way before patriarchy. This informed her spiritual life as well as her artistic career as well.

She studied Printmaking at University of Florida and got her Masters in Printmaking at San Jose State University. She was a working artist in the San Francisco Bay Area for 25 years. Glen moved to San Miguel de Allende Mexico which has a thriving artistic and creative community and a special place for Women especially those in their Crone years. Glen talks about how she and other women artists, and creatives are valued in San Miguel, Mexico.

Once Glen started reading about Goddess Spirituality and the Sacred Feminine she had an intense desire to travel to different neolithic and paleolithic sites and walk in the footsteps of the Goddess. She went to the South of France and to Crete where she saw cave paintings and symbols in ancient ceremony and ritual sites that Glen was very impressed by. She took photos and made sketches while she was there. Using the symbols she started to incorporate them into her book. She was doing figurative work as well. The power of those ancient sites that were places of Goddess worship expresses itself through Glen’s imagery and can be felt when looking

  • The Oracle of Luna with Bridget Engels presents: Jesamyn Angelica: High Priestess - Creatrix & Founder of Sisterhood of the Moon, Author & Ritualist
    Oct 24 2025

Get ready to dive into Lunar Witchcraft with Jesamyn Angelica! Jesamyn is the founder and High Priestess of Sisterhood of the Moon, a matriarchal Goddess Tradition for all. For over thirty years, she has brought her Witchcraft practice and expertise in the Goddess Arts to her uniquely inclusive women’s empowerment work. A lifelong student trained in multiple traditions, she blends wit and humor with practical skills and cultivated wisdom to guide people of integrity toward authenticity through self-exploration. Jesamyn is the author of published by Llewellyn Worldwide, LLewellyn’s Complete Book of the Moon: Lunar Wisdom for Magic, Healing & Inspiration” releasing in December 2025.

Jesamyn grew up in a small, rural New England town and went to a Catholic school run by nuns. They school had a yearly tradition of honoring Mary with a flower festival in May which was Jesanyn’s first introduction to the Goddess/Divine Feminine. She found a copy of “The Power of the Witch” by Laurie Cabot and Shekina Mountainwater's book: “Ariadne’s Thread” that started her on the path of Women’s Spirituality.

We delve into Sisterhood of the Moon; Jesamyn's matriarchal Goddess community led by women for women. They have been person rituals in the San Francisco East Bay Area. Since 2010. The intent is to empower women by belonging and a shared reverence for the Goddess within and without.

Jesamyn and I believe that Women especially now, need to feel seen, heard and witnessed. So many of us are sleep walking through the patriarchal systematic mind control that we lose ourselves in our sacrifice to capitalism and all the damage that inflicts on our souls. With sacred feminine rituals we can actively remember who we are and all that is meaningful to us and to recenter ourselves in our life’s mission. This is the power of Women focused community Moon rituals.

We talk about Moon phases and how we can mindfully engage with the lunar energies of each Moon cycle in our magickal practice. The Moon is humanity's constant reminder of perpetual change and lunar energy mirrors our lives and the never ending process of construction and deconstruction, the rising and falling of everything we think, feel and do. All our bodies are cyclical, our energies are cyclical and we are all part of this greater cosmic rhythm whether we are aware of it or not. This is the profound power of the Moon on all of humanity and nature.

Jesamyn ends our episode with an enchanted blessing to opening to the path of the Moon Witch. Tune in and be enlightened! Jesamyn’s website: www.sisterhoodofthemoon.org
