Welcome to the Hellmouth Weirdos! Your favorite Morbid hosts Ash and Alaina are branching out from true crime and heading to Sunnydale for the ultimate Buffy the Vampire Slayer Rewatch podcast! Alaina is a Buffy superfan and Ash has never watched a single episode, so whether you’re Team Angel, Team Spike, or have no clue who those people are…they’ve got you covered! Join them each week as they slay their way through the series, episode by episode, re-watching, and watching for the very first time. They’ll break down Buffy and her friends adventures through weekly recaps, categories, and awards while Ash takes some (wooden stake) stabs at predicting what she thinks will happen next.     Now that the First has officially set its sights on removing the Slayer line in totality and formally waged war with Oogles the Ubervamp, the gang goes into recon & research mode. The Hellmouth (and the Summers' Residence by extension) are LOUSY with potential slayers-- with the emphasis on LOUSY because the amount of naysaying going on behind Buffy's back has KENNEDY looking like the best in class! Giles and Anya go on a walkabout in a hell dimension to get some intel as Buffy plots a way to give the potentials a wake up call AND position herself to get Spike out of Ooogles' cavern and into a place of safety.

    Rewatch, Listen & Laugh as Mikie offends all of Britain, Ash fixates on a Lizzie Maguire character, and Alaina has a genuinely good reaction to a pivotal Spuffy moment!

Rewatching without watching

I watched Buffy on TV when it came out and watched it several times on box set since. I've watched it with my older sisters and my best friends. The show is a familiar comfort blanket that has helped me in so many dark times. listening to Ash ans Elena recount each episode has been a great way to re watch it without actually watching it again. I listen while I cook dinner for the family or get ready for my day. Whenever I need something on to keep my ADD brain busy when I'm doing mundane tasks I toss on the pod. it's like I'm discussing it with my own sisters. I wish they would also do Angel as well. Joss Whedon (because he's an awful human) aside this is my coming of age show and I highly recommend this podcast to all my fellow Buffy fans.
