  • Moms behind Big Little Feelings on parenting with empathy | Pop Culture Moms
    Apr 26 2024
"The View" and "Behind the Table" are on hiatus this week, so we're taking a little time to share something else we thought you might like -- an episode of the new podcast "Pop Culture Moms" from our friends at ABC Audio and "Good Morning America." In "Pop Culture Moms," best friends Andie and Sabrina talk about the joys and challenges of parenting, and the lessons learned from moms we all know from the big and small screen. Some of the best moms on TV right now are cartoons. To discuss what the mothers in Bluey and Daniel Tiger are doing right, Andie and Sabrina speak with Deena Margolin and Kristin Gallant, the moms behind parenting resource Big Little Feelings and co-hosts of the podcast, After Bedtime with Big Little Feelings. In "Pop Culture Moms," best friends Andie and Sabrina talk about the joys and challenges of parenting, and the lessons learned from moms we all know from the big and small screen. The Barbie movie really resonated with us — and with Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay. Like Barbie, Heather's been on her own journey of self-discovery. She talks to Andie and Sabrina all about breaking out of the boxes we've been put in and creating new paths for our kids. It's OK - it's all their friends though

It's interesting to hear them speak candidly about the show but it's all the people they're still "good" with -- meaning the people who didn't leave on nasty terms; or these are the former hosts who need another moment in the spotlight to revive their careers. Nevertheless, take this with a grain of salt because there's obvious audio edits where certain parts get cut and it's the show producing this to try remake its image after Meghan left and pulled the curtain on what happens behind the scenes. Overall, it's a decent listen. But always wonder if this is a PR stunt to try make the show look squeaky clean and drama free.
