About this listen
Please note contains strong language, violence and adult content.
From the makers of the award-winning TV series comes a new story following the women inmates of Wentworth Correctional Facility.
Maddie, Scarlett and Anna are three 18-year-olds on the threshold of the rest of their lives. Or they will be, once they finish serving their sentences at Mockridge Juvenile Centre. With release dates fast approaching, the girls are out of chances - one more altercation with the law and it’s adult prison.
Forensic psychologist and former Wentworth staffer Bridget Westfall sees an opportunity to make a true and lasting change through the introduction of the ‘RAFT’ anti-recidivism program at Mockridge. Designed to allow juvenile offenders to experience adult prison under controlled conditions, in order to discourage them from reoffending, the three teen girls enter Wentworth Correctional Facility under Bridget’s watch. 48 hours later, only two come out alive.
As tensions erupt into bloodshed, and loyalties are tested and corrupted, Bridget works to investigate the explosive series of events – and races against time to uncover the truth as to who’s responsible for the death of the young inmate and to ultimately prevent the past from repeating itself.
Written by Clare Sladden, James Vinson, Hannah Samuel. Directed by Claudia Pickering. Produced by FremantleMedia Australia.
Performed by Libby Tanner, Kate Jenkinson, Bernard Curry, Contessa Treffone , Sophia Forrest, Miah Madden, Shari Sebbens, Rachael Tidd, and Jake Speer.

Heavy story, and worth it!
The pain in these childrens' lives hurts, and the struggle against the odds is so great. But it is worth it, isn't it?

Wow! This is so awesome!!
It starts out a little slow but somehow sucks you right in; deep.
Just the right amount of introspection and description.

Fans of Wentworth don't want to miss this!
I'm a fan of the TV series and so naturally I gave this a listen to see what it's about. Overall fantastic story, amazing performance from all the cast members, in particular Libby Tanner, for a pure auditory experience. The story definitely embodies the Wentworth spirit in that there is violence and discussions of trauma and other heavy topics. Definitely worth a listen especially if you're a fan of the series.
