  • Famous musician William Hamilton, vanished from the Maleny Hinterlands in 1994 under puzzling circumstances — no one has seen or heard from him since. When two podcasters, Adam and Simon, decide to solve the 25-year-old mystery, they travel with Lilly, William’s youngest daughter, to the secluded Hamilton estate for a long weekend. Unexpectedly was a good listen

To be fair to the title, I wasn't expecting much just because the concept of an audio book in the form of a podcast felt .. just strange to me. the first episode was harder to get through because I was stuck on that initial unfamiliarity but after that the story had become increasingly more engaging and the concept didn't feel awkward. I found it overall a fairly good whodunit fictional story and each person narrating on the tapes kept me interested. Probably not something I would re listen to as I prefer True Crime but I'm not upset that I gave it a listen.

fantastic

I'm not really a true crime person, which is what made this project so brilliant. it sidesteps the downfalls of True crime by making a fictional one.

brilliant performances and writing.

Loved the music!

It was a bit of a slow start for me, but what kept me hooked at first was wondering if it was a true story.

It's not... but it's a great ride and well done. It's difficult to pull off visual storytelling in an audio environment but this cast manages nicely.

Acting was convincing but what really stands out is the music. I wish that the songs featured in this podcast story could be put on Spotify. I loved listening to the one song on the bonus but the other ones seemed so pretty too especially the ones Norah was singing.

interesting and engaging but could gave done more

kept me engaged throughout and threw in a couple of twists and red herrings but overall I thought it could have taken things father. worth a listen. and performances were excellent. nice music.
