Knuddel, Knuddelinchen, Frauchen und Herrchen sind mit den Ostervorbereitungen beschäftigt. Frauchen kocht und "wird wahnsinnig" als Knuddel und Knuddelinchen den Gärtner vergraulen, Knuddel einen alten Lederschuh ausbuddelt oder Herrchen anstatt eines neuen Autos ein Ferkelchen mit heimbringt.

Als Frauchen außer Haus ist, kommt ein fremder Mann, der viel über Knuddel und Knuddelinchen weiß, obwohl er noch nie in Zirngiebelhausen war.

Es gibt wieder Neues aus Zirngiblhausen zu berichten: Knuddels Frauchen nimmt die Hundedame Delilah in Pension. Zuerst freut sich Knuddel. Doch ist so ein Besuch auch mit Verzicht auf die gewohnten Annehmlichkeiten verbunden... und Knuddel ist wieder der "allerärmste Hund der Welt".

Sie arbeitete als freiberufliche Autorin für verschiedene Rundfunkanstalten. Heiteres und Besinnliches in Hochdeutsch aber auch in Schwäbisch und Pfälzisch dachte sie sich aus. Sie war in den 70ern/ 80ern Autorin beliebter Sendungen des SDR (heute SWR).

Knuddel, ein Cocker-Spaniel mit langen Schlappohren, lebte mit "seiner" Familie: Frauchen, Herrchen und deren Kinder sowie seiner "Adoptivtochter" Knuddellinchen, Mischung aus Yorkshire Terrier und Shih Tzu und mit seidigweichen, schwarz-weiss-gefleckten Ohren, in Zirngibelhausen. Jedes Jahr an Weihnachten und Ostern begeisterte er jung und alt mit seinen Geschichten.
