Joining us at Audible Studios for the second time is R. R. Haywood, author of Amazon UK’s number one horror series The Undead, and Washington Post best-selling author of The Undead series and the Extracted trilogy (both of which are Audible best sellers!). He talks to us about the first book in his new trilogy, The Worldship Humility, a science-fiction novel detailing the escapades of a petty thief and an Airlock Operative who accidentally steal a code with information about a new habitable planet.

Joining us at Audible Studios is Heather Morris, an author whose debut novel, The Tattooist of Auschwitz, was a huge success. Morris grew up in New Zealand and has split her adult life between there and Australia. Morris worked in the Social Work Department at Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne from 1995-2017. During this time, Morris decided to pursue her love of storytelling and enrolled in a professional scriptwriting course. In 2003, her life and career path changed. She was introduced to Lale Sokolov, upon whose story she based The Tattooist of Auschwitz.

Joining us at Audible Studios is Sian Thomas, a well-renowned actor on stage, in television and in films, and a regular audiobook narrator. She told us about her incredible career so far, her plans for the future and her role narrating the Mother in Fiona Barton’s new novel, The Suspect. The novel documents the media frenzy that occurs when two girls go missing in Thailand while travelling on their gap year. It is told (and read) from four different perspectives and will leave you cold, knowing danger is always nearby.

Joining us at Audible Studios is critically acclaimed author and social historian Hallie Rubenhold. We spoke about her new book, The Five, which tells the story of Jack the Ripper’s victims, revealing their interesting and varied true lives and their stories, which have been lost due to misogyny and tabloid press. We also spoke about her love of history, her research and her plans for the future.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to talk about his latest novel, Take Nothing with You, is best-selling British author Patrick Gale. As well as being the author of 19 novels including the Costa-nominated A Place Called Winter, Gale also wrote the acclaimed BBC drama Man in the Orange Shirt. His latest book, Take Nothing with You, was published in August 2018. Patrick Gale talks to us about his latest book, the inspiration behind it and lessons from his own childhood.
