Auf der Jagd nach den verschollenen Manuskripten des Karl Marx Dr. Edward Aveling, der "Schwiegersohn" des soeben verstorbenen Philosophen Karl Marx, hat einen schlechten Charakter, sonst würde er Band 2 und 3 von Das Kapital nicht als Pfand für seine Verluste beim Glücksspiel hinterlegen.
