Daisy didn’t mean to break Grandpa’s special purple plates, playing with Socks in the Potter’s shop. But one small mistake leads to a big crash—and an even bigger mess of guilt. As tears fall and Daisy hides away, she fears nothing can ever fix what’s been ruined. But Grandpa the Potter sees something more.

Daisy longs to shine as the angel in the town’s Christmas parade. But once again, her sister gets the wings, and Daisy is left with scratchy burlap as Shepherd #3—alongside her wiggly cat Socks. Meanwhile, in the workshop, new clay nativity pieces are being sculpted by the Potter’s hand—each one unique, never made from a mold. Daisy begins to discover that being a shepherd is more than a background part. It points to the Good Shepherd Himself, born that first Christmas night.
