Splintered Magic

Brigid Donovan is down on her luck. Her husband dumped her for the biggest stereotype around, his secretary, and her family mansion is a decaying wreck. All she wants is to get it restored, enjoy the peace and quiet of living in eight hundred acres of primordial forest, and rebuild her life. Fate seems to be against her. Brigid Donovan has found some of her Fae magic, but some is still missing. Her new boyfriend doesn't remember who she is, and the witch coven still wants to take everything from her. Her call for help brought her human best friend, but she hasn't any magic—although she makes up for it with enthusiasm. To get her stolen magic back, Brigid's going to have to master the magic she does have. Putting out a call to her Fae great-grandfather could be the best idea yet, or it could be the worst. The Fae aren't known for their compassion.

In a desperate move, Brigid defeated the witches, but now she is stuck in Faerie with zero ideas, or the power, to get back home. At least her cat and her bestie are with her. But they're not the only ones she accidentally transported. The coven's head witch, Sofia, has also disappeared into the Fae realm. If Brigid had any luck, a wild Fae creature would eat Sofia, but Brigid's luck ran out years ago. Lost in a foreign realm, Brigid has to navigate the Fae court without insulting anyone or inadvertently causing a civil war.
