Elizabeth Lyons has one rule for herself: no distractions.

No distractions basically translates into no men, which definitely means hell no when it comes to Daniel Alexander.

After a chance meeting at a professional function, Daniel is not interested in letting Elizabeth go. No matter how much Elizabeth tries to stay away from him, Daniel's not the kind of guy who lets something he wants walk out of his life. The question is, will she let him catch her, or will her past fears ruin any chance of a future with him?

Although the story line was good, the language was rough and the story could have been just as effectively without all the F bombs

The poor language

Erin Mallon wasn’t as over the top as she often is. Jason Clarke did his usual great job. The problem was the fl who was so annoying, immature, and just plain stupid at times that it was a difficult story to finish. Her behaviour and reactions to events in her life, while understandable to a certain degree, made the steamy scenes kinda gross. The other problem was the ex, his part made no sense and neither did her reaction to him. Not a great example of the author’s work.

Ridiculous Female Lead too tough and too stupid

Two words. Flip-flop.

I enjoyed this book and I didn’t enjoy this book. There’s the first flip flop.
The second flip-flop is Elizabeth. She was annoying. First she wants somebody then she doesn’t then she want somebody then she doesn’t. I know her character was young. Younger than 30. But she acted like a 16-year-old. I want this boy I don’t want this boy I want this boy I don’t want this boy. As far as I’m concerned Elizabeth didn’t deserve this man. And yes her attitude changed throughout the book but she still is a wishy-washy, flip-flopping, immature woman.

The two narrators of Cours are amazing and that is the reason I got this book in the first place.

It’s a good thing it’s free. Or was free. If you like narration and don’t care what the story is about, I suggest this one as these two narrators are amazing. I’ve never had a problem with either of them. But if you have to pay for it I might think twice.
