He's off-limits...and we're breaking all the rules!

I just landed my dream summer gig: working as a production assistant on TV's smash-hit reality show, Ever After. Two months of sun and fun at the beach? Sign me up! Until the moment I come face to face with this season's bachelor, racing's bad boy Dash - a.k.a., the mysterious hottie I just hooked up with at a creepy motel off the I-80.

Can you say, awkward?

Dash is sexy, charming-and totally off-limits. But the chemistry between us is way too hot to ignore. He's playing to win, and he's got his sights set on the prize: me!

Soon, the action is heating up off-screen. But between ratings-hungry producers, back-stage drama, and 12 of the most cutthroat glamazon contestants known to womankind, I'm in way over my head. Can I find my happily-ever-after, or will it be lights, camera, heartbreak?

Contains mature themes.

It reads like a fill-in-the-blanks story. Considering how fantastic the first book in the series was, this was a disappointment. It was dry and only the ML was really palatable and there is little of his POV. The FL character was boring and either winey or bitchy. She’s a very one dimensional character and was far more exciting if a little bit annoying in the role of best friend in the first book. Here she has no redeeming qualities nothing to attract anyone except her red hair. It doesn’t help that the story is 90% FL’s POV, which only highlighted the boring nature of the character and her story. The story itself has too many holes, too many hanging bits and pieces, too many actions that made no sense. I really hope the next book in the series is better.
