Spicy NEW age-gap Mafia bodyguard romance from Amazon Top 35 Bestselling author Jill Ramsower.

I open my eyes mid-climax to discover I'm not alone…

He's watching me touch myself.

Not a stalker. My Mafia bodyguard.

Even worse? He's by brother's best friend.

I'm mortified—too embarrassed to look him in the eye.

The ruthless enforcer never gave me the time of day.

But when he sucks my fingers between his lips, I can't look away.

"Touch yourself again in my bed, and I'll take it as an invitation."

He makes me feel seductive emotions I haven't experienced in years.

Not since my husband's death.

The man I married died because of me, and I'm terrified it's going to happen again.

My life is in danger, and that makes DiAngelo a target.

I refuse to allow another man to risk his life for me.

DiAngelo doesn't care.

He vows death to anyone who touches me. And in the wake of his domineering persistence, he exposes a side of me I never knew existed.

A side that craves surrender……and submission.

My protector turns to teacher,

But can I learn to trust him with my body and my life?

What to expect in Hunter's Keep:

Note from the Author: For those of you who are new to me, I write what I'd call "mafia lite." My heroes are hardened criminals with soft spots for their heroines. There may be violence and cruelty in my books, but never between the main characters. Enjoy!

I wish I had spent my money/credit on a different book. Got about 3/4 of the way through and gave up on trying to force myself to finish it. It didn’t have any substance for me to grab on to. It’s like it was written by 17 year old with ADHD. The storyline is weak and characters are very superficial. There is a lot of babbling and pointless inner monologuing and redundant explanations. It bounces all over the place. Where there should’ve been more time and effort put into certain scenes those parts seem to have been skipped over and effort put into inconsequential parts of the book. I found I kept on tuning it out. The narration wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. It’s done in a dual point of view, but the narrators didn’t seem to be on the same page when it came to the mood and emotions that needed to be portrayed within a scene. The female narrator especially seemed to misrepresent the mood of particular scenes. Kind of like a newscaster who’s way too cheerful when they’re reporting a terrible event. Her narration style portrayed more of a romcom vibe rather than a mafia romance.

Not great.
