Amazing 🤩
I had no clue what I was getting into with this book but I absolutely love it!!!
It has awesome world building, humorous banter, spice, progressive themes & action.
In this world there are monsters that especially come out at night & a black army that says they are good but they seem to be colonizing the world one territory at a time.
There’s a re writing of history & a propaganda machine meant to keep the population placid.
There once was a woman who had 4 guardians 2 human & 2 daemon to bridge the gap between the humans & monsters.
That is until something happened, but a new woman comes into power every 5 years to try to recreate that magical bond either 4 guardians but the black army keeps finding the girls & we think they kill them.
Right now this book ends in a cliffhanger with our girl just finding her 4th guardian but he is the leader of the black army and I think someone knew what he would be and raised him to believe only in the propaganda. He’s also of a demon bloodline that he had no idea about until she unleashed his power. In his fear he pushed her away.
I can’t wait for the next book, I’m absolutely loving this series!!!
