I was in the mood for a fairytale retelling and after reading Beast last month, I decided to dive back into the Monsters and Beauties series—and this time we’re getting a very… spicy take on Goldilocks 👀
This is a very short erotica novella, so don’t go in expecting a deep, plot-heavy story. There’s honestly not much happening on the storyline side, but that’s not really the point here. What you do get is a primal, possessive monster romance where Goldie finds herself caught in the orbit of not one, but three bear-beasts who have been watching, protecting, and ultimately claiming her. The whole “they just want one thing… and they don’t care who gives it” vibe? Yeah, that sets the tone real quick 😅
What saved this for me—and bumped it up to a solid 3 stars—is how scorching it is. Like… this book knows exactly what it’s doing and doesn’t pretend otherwise. It’s quick, dirty, unapologetic escapism, and sometimes that’s exactly the mood. The duet narration by Sean Masters & Angelina Rocca was also really nicely done and added that extra immersive layer that made it even more enjoyable.
Overall, if you’re looking for a fast, no-strings-attached, super spicy read with a monster twist—this delivers. Just don’t expect depth… expect heat 🔥
