Violent crimes against women story arc

Main character and story seemed promising until the plot turned into a story about stalking/kidnapping and raping of women. After maybe an hour (that felt never ending) of this subject manner, i just couldn’t listen anymore. It’s not sexy or interesting to me. Just my own personal preferences.
