Loved everything about this story. The characters are flawed but beautiful; the relationships make sense, which can be absent in a lot of contemporary romance. The steam in this book is great. I love the balance of longing with fulfillment. It isn't at all a slow burn, but it also doesn't have the cheesy insta-love trope. In short, a fantastic blend of realism and fantasy.
Narrators were excellent for this story and truly enhanced the experience. Bravo across the board.
