They have an intense BDSM relationship that was interesting to see coalesce, but there was also intense love. All the more so as an audiobook.

I’m pretty sure this was Narrator Alexander Candese. Some websites also states the fact.
His performance can at times be too much, but I was coming back for more over and over until I finally finished the book after a week. I was interested in the side characters and their story. I will continue to listen to the series. It is original in a way, and now that I'm used to what the author intended it to be, I think listening would be less will be less of a chore. This was extremely hot 🥵 in the end. So, sometimes it does pay off to suck it up and shut up and listen.
I recommend this audiobook for those who love BDSM. It’s yummy!
