Reverend Andrew Curtis Lay is a life-long United Methodist and grew up attending First United Methodist Church in Cleveland, Tennessee. Andrew has taught as an adjunct professor in the religion department at Tennessee Wesleyan University. He is an ordained elder in the Holston Conference and is currently serving as one of the pastors at Cokesbury United Methodist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. Andrew is married to Ally Lay, and they have one daughter. He is the author of the books: Hope for the Holidays; Palms, Passion, & Resurrection; and Shattered and Sanctified. He is also the host of The Methodical Methodist Podcast, where he explores Scripture, theology, and the life of faith through thoughtful conversation and reflection. Andrew is passionate about helping people engage the Bible with curiosity, honesty, and faith.
