Aidan is known for having survived seemingly insurmountable challenges in his personal life to reach his notable success by overcoming being an undocumented immigrant in poverty, an HIV diagnosis as a teenager, widowhood and mental health issues. Aidan found his success by modeling himself after successful individuals and applying to his life what he learned through mentorships, seminars, and personal research. Aidan’s dedication to the field of self-empowerment naturally lead him to become a certified life coach and a certified master practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Aidan has successfully coached students, businesses and even couples to reach various desired outcomes. Through application of the principles he learned, Aidan forged success in the worlds of entrepreneurship and entertainment. Aidan started his career as an actor performing on stage in over 30 theatre productions. He has been seen on NBC, Amazon Prime, PBS, CBS, TV Guide Channel, Hulu, Comedy Central and numerous feature films, shorts and commercials. When Aidan was new to the world of stand-up comedy, he quickly gained a reputation in the Los Angeles comedy scene as "a comic to watch." Since then, he's become an internationally touring headliner and earned a verified social media following with his viral videos. Aidan has produced live theater, developed projects with Laugh Factory Productions, Reel TV Films, Totally LA, and more. He is the Founder of Solar Shark Productions, where he produced and starred in his own scripted reality TV show, Aidan Park: On the F-List. The Hollywood Improv hosted its premiere. Aidan has written and produced over a dozen theatre projects in California and produced comedy shows at some of the top clubs in Hollywood. In addition to his monthly shows at Flappers Comedy Club and The Hollywood Improv, Aidan created a brand of comedy shows called Rainbow Pop for LGBT audiences. Rainbow Pop lived at the Laugh Factory Hollywood. He booked some of the world’s top comedic talent to appear on stage including stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Margaret Cho, Nicole Byers, Sherri Shepherd, Whitney Cummings and many more! Rainbow Pop ran for four years to great success and accolades. The show boasted successful collaborations with LGBT-focused advocacy groups including: Aids Healthcare Foundation, EQCA, and No H8 Campaign. Rainbow Pop was also a commercial success. Aidan negotiated sponsorship deals with more than 20 local businesses and corporations including Orange Theory Fitness, The Body Factory, The Hustler Store and The Chateau Marmont. His marketing and customer acquisition background gave him the know-how to increase Laugh Factory's attendance and revenue by almost 300% for the show’s time slot. His effective leadership in the world of production did not go unnoticed. Aidan was asked to consult for several businesses. He recruited and managed sales teams of up to 20. Noticeable profit increases and business expansion were direct results of Aidan's leadership. A love for civic duty led Aidan to become a political coordinator. He recruits street teams for grassroots political campaigns and creates strategies to inform the public about propositions authored by special interest groups throughout the United States.After tragically losing his partner Michael James to cancer, Aidan re-evaluated his life and career. He decided to combine his love for personal development, comedy, and producing in order to spread ideas of empowerment. He began writing for The Pride LA Magazine as their “Dear Abby” advice columnist. During that time, he co-produced and co-starred in a podcast for Laugh Factory Productions called What To Do Show. On the podcast he advised and encouraged callers to lean into their greatest well-being.Today, Aidan is an empowerment coach for businesses and individuals and his clients get results. Based on his roots in Neuro-linguistic Programming, he teaches empowerment with a practical, tool-based approach. Recently, Aidan added published author to his list of accomplishments. The Art of Being YAY! – An OMG and NSFW Memoir/Guide to Authentic Joy was released in September 2020. His comedic hero and personal friend, Margaret Cho authored a foreword for the book. The heart-felt foreword further encourages readers to embrace their struggle and carry on with pride and love. The book also takes form as an empowerment focused, one-man comedy show/seminar. The show premiered live to a sold-out crowd at Deerfield Ranch Winery in the Sonoma Valley. Soon after, The Art of Being of YAY! was presented at the Los Angeles Widow’s Camp, a camp for grieving widows and widowers. Aidan has also created curriculum to inspire high school and college students to greater motivation and a brighter vision for the future. Last but not least, the blog! The Art of Being YAY! blog is a place online for anyone to join and be a part of the emotional-empowerment community.
