His debut novel is the futuristic but terrifyingly plausible Hammond Flux, the story of a scientist who maps his mind into a quantum computer as part of the Lazarus Project. As his digitised self grows in power and attempts to infiltrate the real world, the shadowy organisation funding the Lazarus project finds itself under attack from a man with a vendetta and all the world’s most horrific weapons at his disposal. This chilling tale leaves you wondering just how far from our current reality the story is.
