Alberto Meneses (1969) is a crime thriller author, with 30 published novels and translations into several languages. After beginning his career in 2012 in science fiction, in 2018 he decides to switch to the crime genre. “Los muertos no se ahogan" launches the Roberto Fuentes series and marks the beginning of a successful career, followed by the Verónica Cuevas, Inspector Fran Merino, and “Vidas cultas” series. Alberto Meneses is one of the most-read authors in his genre on Amazon Spain, with more than 200,000 readers. In 2024, he is named one of the most-read writers on Kindle Unlimited Spain. In 2025, he wins the Kindle Storyteller Award Spain, presented by Amazon, for the novel "El ocaso de la verdad." He lives in León, where he writes full-time.
