Thanks for taking the time to read this. I make my home in Toronto, Canada, and have written 7 books as of 2021. My work explores power and iconoclasm through the lenses of magical realism, science-fiction, and fantasy. I write in Adult, Young Adult, and Middle Grade – about characters who use their wits, skill, and drive to overcome the odds. My characters don't tend to rely on others to save them. And they never forget where they came from, lifting their companions along with them as they rise up. Sometimes they just wreak havoc and vengeance. Hopefully you'll agree that they do it with style. There's a lot more to every world that I create. Each has a history and its own culture. Sometimes those worlds are beautiful. Sometimes they're broken, and need fixing – like our own.
