Alexander Mikaberidze

Alexander Mikaberidze is Professor of History and the Ruth Herring Noel Endowed Chair for the Curatorship of the James Smith Noel Collection at Louisiana State University-Shreveport. He holds a degree in international law from Tbilisi State University and worked as an international law expert at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia (1996-2000), where he handled the human rights issues and relations with the Council of Europe. In 2000, he moved to the US where he finished Ph.D. in history at Florida State University and has taught European and world history at Florida State University and Mississippi State University and lectured on strategy and policy for the U.S. Naval War College.
