Alexandra Slater is an author, podcaster, blogger, and comedian. She is also an award-winning journalist who received the Edward R. Murrow Award for Writing when she worked as a reporter for NPR. Alex graduated from Columbia University with a degree in English Literature and attended Northwestern University’s Medill Graduate School of Journalism. She published her second novel, Friends with Boats, in May 2023 with Greenleaf Book Group/River Grove Press. The book became an instant #1 Amazon Bestseller. She is a cross between Nikki Glaser and Sandra Bullock (read: funny and inappropriate sometimes?) and she is an on-air radio personality, “The Hingham Housewife,” on 95.9 FM, Boston’s South Shore radio. She lives with her husband, children, and two dogs.
